CS-371- Blog Post #1- Zoe McLaven
Hello everyone, my name is Zoe McLaven, I am a 3rd-year student studying communications. I am a person who enjoys listening to music whenever I can, whether it's when I'm in my room, walking to class, or hanging with my friends; it is something I do daily. Since I enjoy music, I love to explore Apple Music playlists and view the specific amenities to offer. One playlist that has helped me over the years in University are study playlist. These playlists select random soothing songs that create an atmosphere of focus once played. They have allowed me to stay driven on my work and helped me study for exams. Studying can seem very daunting, but this playlist is another resource to help me perform my best and not feel overwhelmed; as stated in the playlist description, "excellent mood setter." I find it truly interesting that music platforms can cater to everyone's needs through a playlist for all types of occasions. In addition, it creates a more efficient way for individuals to access playlists without taking the time to download and build a playlist. Once I discovered these playlists, it became difficult not to use them when doing large amounts of work and studying for exams.
Great post Zoe! I just discovered study playlists last year around exam time and put one on not thinking I would like it but I was shocked how well it kept me motivated and focused. Now its the first thing I do before starting any school work. I would never of thought of this idea or let alone created the playlist on my own, them being available on apple music is a life saver.
