CS371 Blogger Icebreaker- Elizabeth Kvil
Hi everyone! My name is Elizabeth Kvil but I usually go by Lizzy :) I am a fourth year communications major. I really enjoy watching true crime on YouTube. My favourite channel that makes the best true crime content (in my opinion) is Bella Fiori. Every time I wanna learn about a new case I find myself always watching her videos. She has a very calm voice and I can always keep up with the facts that she mentions throughout the video. She always picks the best cases to talk about and that's why I usually chose her over the other true crime creators. She was one of the youtubers that got me into watching true crime as well.
Here is the link to her youtube channel if you wanna check it out :)

Hi Lizzy! I love your post as I also enjoy watching Bella's videos. I think her accent is so soothing when she talks and her tone makes it easy to understand. One thing I really enjoy with her videos is that she uses photos to show the people involved, the, location, the murder weapon, etc. I think those additions help me visualize the story better. Great post!
ReplyDeleteHello Lizzy! I enjoyed reading your post and I think that Bella Firori makes one of the best true crime content on Youtube as well. Youtube has become a platform that has not only been used for entertainment purposes, but now for educational purposes as well for inside and outside school; whether that is to go in-depth about a concept for a psychology class, learn how to cook a certain dish, expand one’s
ReplyDeleteknowledge on history, the list goes on. I find that social media platforms such as Youtube have become more prevalent in the education system, where students can have a better understanding of school material by helping them learn more about complex concepts while expanding their knowledge on certain topics. Rather than reading from a textbook, teachers integrate these videos into their lesson plans to help explain and summarize their lessons better. The visual and audio aspects that are shown in these videos make learning easier and more interesting which aids comprehension.
